We started The 1890 at Huntland Farm with the mission to provide a great vacation rental experience for our guests and to share the magic of living on Sourland Mountain. Its 17-mile-long ridge extends from the Delaware River in Lambertville, through parts of Hillsborough Township, Montgomery Township, and into our location in Hopewell Township in Mercer County, NJ. Comprised of the largest contiguous forest in Central NJ, the 90-square-mile Sourland Mountain region is an important and ecologically sensitive area. It's home to various plants and animal species including rare and endangered species and has very rough, rocky terrain. With a peak of only 568 feet above sea level, some balk at the term mountain, but to those who live here, it earns its title. Visit sourland.org to learn more.
